Another dentist had done work to this patient, as  you can see in the “Before” picture below (to the left). The patient then asked around for a good dentist and was referred to Lakefront Family Dentistry by a friend, since they were not happy with the results the other dentist was providing.

Our dentists were able to place a 3-Unit Dental Bridge and 3 CEREC Crowns on the Upper teeth. Our new patient was extremely happy with the results!

What Happens if I Don’t Replace Missing Teeth?

Tooth loss can be a traumatic and embarrassing event that ultimately affects self esteem and confidence. However, there are other noticeable and problematic changes that will also begin if left untreated.

See a Qualified Dentist Immediately if:

  • Loss of confidence in the smile affects your quality of life
  • There are noticeable changes in the ability to speak or chew
  • The face and/or cheek area develops a “sunken” appearance

What Cosmetic Solutions are Offered at Lakefront Family Dentistry?

When visiting our office, we will discuss all options available for repairing aesthetic flaws. Dr. Phillipe and Dr. Hauser are regarded as a highly qualified cosmetic dentist known for his amazing ability to skillfully craft flawless, gorgeous smiles.

We proudly feature a revolutionary, advanced dental system called CEREC, which includes the latest, in-house equipment available with only 15% of dentists nationwide. Using this technology, our experienced dentists can deliver custom aesthetic dentistry solutions that are permanently placed.

This is an amazing technology that has transformed our patients’ experience, allowing them to walk into our office and leave the same day with a permanent, restorative solution fully in place.

Lakefront Family Dentistry Offers:

  • Same-day porcelain crowns
  • Porcelain veneers in two visits
  • Root canal therapy
  • White fillings
  • Periodontal therapy
  • Custom smile design
  • Teeth whitening
  • Preventive maintenance services

A traditional tooth bridge (also known as a partial denture) is made from porcelain and permanently fixed in the mouth. Using CEREC, Dr. Hauser prepares a custom mouth impression with the aid of 3-D imaging technology.

Our Dentists Have Been Using CEREC Technology for 20 Years

These digital images are used in conjunction with computer aided manufacturing equipment to create a custom, precise fitting replacement. We only use high-grade porcelain, which is matched to fit the natural color of the surrounding teeth.

Will My Tooth Bridge Replacement Look Natural?

Absolutely! The science of modern dentistry has given Dr. Phillipe and Dr. Hauser the ability to render flawless, natural looking dental replacements. Porcelain material is made much like enamel and can be virtually undetectable and shaped into an exact dental replica.

Aside from the aesthetic benefits, this is also a very durable material. Much like enamel, porcelain can withstand the rigors of normal tooth function. With proper care, a new dental bridge can last 10 years or more.

How Do I Properly Care for Bridge Replacements?

Just like natural teeth, taking good care of your new smile is absolutely necessary. Prevent any further tooth loss or decay by brushing twice a day for 2 minutes each time and flossing after meals. Try establishing a cleaning regimen during the same time every day, which will help develop effective brushing habits.

Also, make sure to schedule regular dental exams and cleaning to help prevent and/or detect potential problems. Eating well-balanced, healthy meals and avoiding foods with high-sugar content will also help preserve a pearly white smile.
